“Automobiles and Steam Locomotives have been my passion for as long as I can remember. From my first push-bike as a five-year-old to my first powered ones, a Luna Super and Yamaha RX100. I fondly recall taking them apart and re-building them during my school holidays!

Well, that fascination, passion, and love remain as strong today. Here’s my story …

I feel privileged to consider myself one of the few who can say “I do what I love” and every day. Sure, there are bumpy roads to navigate in business, but success comes with knowledge, experience, and a well-motivated team of good people.

“Dare to Dream” and no dream is impossible. Find the right people who aspire to similar goals, who are not afraid to work tirelessly to achieve them and be there to support and guide them on their own journey.

Today I love to mentor others and I’m happy that the “old fashioned approach” - as some might say - has paid off. Honesty, kindness, and patience to teach and respect others has been the key. Moulding honest people to shine for both business and personal success.

It is my pleasure and honour to have worked with great people, some I have taught and others I have learned from. My customers, like me are attracted to quality and honest work and I remain fortunate and privileged to continue this journey and share it with the people who wish to know and grow with me”.

My Beginnings: Thankful for the opportunity to study at good schools and colleges in India, England & South Africa, I finished my final year of education in 2007. Right after graduation, I started to hunt down that infamous “ladder” that needed climbing!

2008-2010: I bagged a job at a Ferrari’s Dealership in UK and later moved to Aston Martin In Mumbai. As pain staking as it was to get the chance to work with both these esteemed brands, I can tell you there was nothing more painful than having to endure the ‘dealership’ working environment which simply wasn’t for me. Keeping this short, it was the harsh and unappreciative nature of working at these establishments that lead me to realise it just wasn’t for me. Mind you, it was quite a thrill and proud moment, the day I sold my first Aston Martin. My entrepreneurial start though wasn’t far away after this. A far more interesting story awaits, trust me.

2011: I started working with independent garage owners in Pune and Mumbai, focusing most of my time helping them acquire customers and source parts/jobs for Mercedes Benz car owners. I have always been extremely patriotic towards India and her people and this is primarily why I chose to stay back and hunt for work and ventures, in Pune predominantly.

2014: After gaining experience, lessons and putting in some serious hard work with very little reward, I decided to pull away from dictators and start it all on my own. AJP was founded and formed in 2014. AJ Performance, Retail Store in Bizz Bay Mall. Our First Presence in Pune.
